Check Out My Work
Teralta Art Redesign & Development
Teralta Art is a nonprofit pottery studio that offers low-cost and free classes to underserved populations in City Heights, San Diego.
When I started at Teralta Art, their branding and online strategy needed a complete overhaul. In my role as an online strategist, I have spearheaded all online design, development, marketing, and digital fundraising initiatives.
Where I Added Value
Brand Redesign
In the Teralta Art redesign, I aimed to enhance the brand’s image to boost community and donor trust, while still retaining the nonprofit’s cheerful energy.
The original branding for Teralta Art included only a visual logo. Teralta Art wanted to keep this logo as it was prevalent in their already existing branding and communicated the positive energy they wanted to put out into the community. With this logo as a base, I got to work and simplified the design to add legibility while fixing basic spacing and text issues.
From my new logo, I created a new brand kit with brand logos, colors, fonts, and patterns. Check it out by clicking the button below!

Complete Site Restructure for Simplified User Flows
To better increase community impact as a nonprofit, my site restructure made an impactful change to serve Teralta Art’s primary objectives through simplified user flows:
- Offer underserved populations low-cost and free classes
- Increase awareness & donations
- Recruit volunteers
I confirmed and optimized the value of my defined user flows via user testing and feedback.
Teralta Art has seen a substantial increase in community engagement as a result of these efforts.
SEO Implementation
As a young nonprofit, Teralta Art has low search engine rankings and visibility. Prior to my arrival at Teralta Art, there was no SEO implementation. Utilizing my SEO efforts, Teralta Art has had a 40% increase in organic traffic from search engines and moved up an average of 37.15 in search rankings.
I am actively forming strategic plans to further increase Teralta Art’s online visibility.

Canova Home Brand Refresh & Site Design
Canova Home is a local shop in Boulder, Colorado specializing in handmade, ethical artisan goods.
Canova Home first approached me looking to switch from their outdated Squarespace site to Shopify. In my conversations with the shop owner, Susan, she expressed exasperation over the overall look of her site and branding. We decided on a full brand refresh and site redesign that would be easy for her to manage.
Where I Added Value
Brand Redesign
In the Canova Home brand redesign, I aimed to improve branding consistency that communicated the earthy but polished feel of the business.
The original branding for Canova Home included only one visual logo with legibility issues. Canova Home wanted me to tweak this logo to improve readability. With this logo as a base, I created a new logo in addition to a new brand kit with brand logos, colors, fonts, and patterns.
Site Redesign & Development

DYNMC: A Social Media Site for Artists
In my time working for DYNMC, I designed the brand its own social media site for artists. My goal in designing this site was to create a visually interesting and user-friendly hub for artists to share their work and engage with one another in the art community.
